rtm dates (confirmed check with betawiki, former list is formed by perldoxie with the help of ai +re-checking back in 2024)

why rtm things? well, will the commercial release date make sense to them? (up to win3.1, nt excluded, rtm+commercial r the same, according to the list). we value publicity over first rtm 2 drop out nt4-like situations

for subversions, primary is x.0, i.e. 3.0 as b-day for triplie (unsure if the same will work for ms-dos, lore reasons)

but they (and so nt3.x) r included for lore-forming purposes (i have no date for nt3.1, probably 24, 25 or 27/07/93 but it can be a commercial release? (bettin' on 24) but betawiki states, nt3.1 rtm oct 27, 92; nt3.11 rtm nov 8, 93. why on the earth these above r circulating)

we use dd/mm/yy. comments, there's none? most likely to be true (or info differs too much so i could be a comm). some? don't bother us if main are correct !and mind if u dont mess up w commercial

if a misinfo is encountered, use the chatbox we'll update info then (also use the link 2 return)

(15/07/15) i like this sequence btw (oh no it's slightly broken) // "It was first released to Windows Insiders in the Fast and Slow rings on 15 July 2015, and was later made generally available worldwide on 29 July 2015". should think of lore reasons and decide,
winnt4 (31/07/96)
(29/07/96) betawiki states, a rtm build was released in jul 27 but recalled due to a bug, true rtm (publicly announced) jul 31. 'ok u can gonononono wait one sec'. dunno where perldoxie took jul 29 thing, intermed logic doesn't work. prob will use 31 one bc public. nt simself wouldn't care
