protea cynaroides, a game of learning through pattern recognition
we won't share its lore for now. but the story's planned to be told w/out recognizable words
a game in unity we were been making in 2024 while losing interest in
that hld thing. and then c:hitw popped up to steal it- so protea
cynaroides had dropped out quickly. but the idea is so freakingly cool
that we'll resume working on it one day--
aliased lineart, crisp shadows here and global gradient shading there.
you are set into some world of GUjh7aio38 2nIUK1g hgj1JK8s-- the music
gives off nostalgic vibes, sometimes so unsettling... are you home?
that you don't belong to? you contact with yourself through a terminal.
yeah, you're at least able to understand self. but... not really to
control it. kl;UG39 dGS*&js ei(Mdm29--
see gibberish? it is the core thing of gameplay: on new game, a set of
gibberish 'words' is generated, and it is names for controls like go
left, do nothing, etc. you act in turns, and out of randomized options
you must pick one. so aside learning these new 'words', you learn to
choose best options out of the weirdest ones. and to stay patient (but
ofc several shortcuts will reduce the mundanity of reaching
destinations). and yeah fights and puzzles of course
(in this build, devmode is enabled by default only 4 ease of testing,
you're not supposed to walk by arrows originally)
a question of time when we resume this xd
